天地间本来是一片漆黑，伸手不见五指，人们只能点火把来照明。也不知过了多少年，也不知是
哪一天，突然间，特大的狂风把两个持火把的人吹上了天，天上就有了两个太阳。两个太阳轮流
照耀着大地，照得人们无法合眼休息，庄稼也都被烧焦了。又不知道过了多长时间，一位箭术高
明的神箭手用强箭射中了其中的一个太阳，从此，它的光芒减弱，变成了月亮。 高山族的另一则
神话，说太阳和月亮是一对青年男女变的：为了替大地和人们寻找光明，他们两人走遍了天涯海
角，最后飞上了天空，男青年变成了光芒万丈的太阳，女青年变成了温柔可爱的月亮。 当你们抬
头看月亮的时候，立刻就会发现，明亮的月亮上还有些不那么明亮的地方，它们比周围稍微暗一
些，暗的程度也不一样。下面一则瑶族神话就是想来解释月亮上明暗交错的情景的。 天上的月亮
原来是方不方、圆不圆的，亮得使人睁不开眼，热得使人透不过气。一对青年男女立志兴利除
弊，为人民做好事。力大无比的男青年将一支支利箭射向月亮，硬是把月亮一点点修理得圆圆
的。可是，月亮光还是太亮，而且白白的月亮也不好看呀！女青年是位织锦能手，她潜心为月亮
编织了一幅美丽的丝锦，让男青年挂在箭上射到月亮上去把它盖起来。这样，月亮光就不那么刺
眼了，原先织在丝锦上的图案、房子、牛羊、桂花树等就成了我们看到的月面图案了。后来，男
女青年也来到了月亮上，男放牧，女织锦，过着美满幸福的日子。

-Love and Time-
Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.
Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.
When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.
Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."
Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.
Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"
Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.
Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,
Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"
"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

灰白色的那一瞬间......
昨天，没听到笑声，
也没有欢乐的气氛。
伤心的泪水从眼里一滴一滴的掉下来，
是的，它走了。
这也许是日子久了，产生了另一种不一样的感情吧。
